As MADC moves into its sixth year, we are humbly asking for your financial help to achieve our ongoing plans for the company. Every dollar you donate will go towards:
  • dancers' performance stipends
  • studio rental for company class and rehearsal
  • production fees for MADC's annual dance festival celebrating women choreographers of color entitled Collective Thread (venue, lighting designer, & stage manager)
  • production fees for MADC's free community concert at Jackie Robinson Park (park permit, bonds, stereo system, mic, & marley)
  • production fees for MADC & RahDanceWorks' split bill concert entitled Harlem Voices (venue, lighting designer, & stage manager)
  • marketing/advertising upcoming concerts
  • costumes
  • festival application fees for upcoming performance opportunities

​MADC can receive in-kind donations of:
  • studio space
  • performance space
  • costumes
  • snacks and water to provide before/after concerts
MADC is always looking for volunteers with experience/expertise in:
  • grant writing
  • public relations/marketing
  • social media
  • fundraising
  • arts administration
  • the non-profit sector
Each donation will 
  • provide a voice and a platform to all women of underrepresented ethnic groups within the medium of dance.
  • bring movers and audiences uptown to see dance in a neighborhood known for its art, history, and culture.
  • use dance as a vehicle to connect, inspire, and ignite a spark of hope within multitudes of people from various walks of life.
